My artistic process is built by painting from a multitude of references. At times these can be photographs, sketches from life, or imaginative marks. My work is a culmination of multiple scenarios pieced together to bring upon an ambiguous zone. The zone is built through a relationship between the figure and the landscape. Space is embedded in the work through an atmosphere of abstraction, some have described it as a mist. Figures that are present in the work suggest narratives. These narratives are intended to remain unclear and introspective.
